WHAT IS IT?
A part of the AOL Lifestyle brand family, StyleList curates the world of fashion to offers the latest celebrity styles, illuminate shopping deals and gives insightful beauty and fashion advice all day, everyday. It was the first AOL brand site to go responsive and has since been rolled into the AOL.com lifestyle channel.
WHAT DID I DO?
As the product owner (mobile first roadmap) I was responsible for creating and implementing an agile management plan (Fibonacci estimation, sprint planning, retrospectives, demos) to not only help our dev and design team manage sponsorships but to also increase our velocity with shipping the following new website features and sister websites.
Gravy
I identified a potential opportunity for a partnership with a Gravy, a hyper local event discovery platform that bases feed suggestions on a users location, interests and intent. We wanted to increase engagement on evergreen style, fitness and beauty articles and realized that the ability to suggest relevant events could increase return visits and PVs. For the pilot test, we set to measure the clicks and deltas on time and site and page views to determine the impact of having the event feed at the bottom of article pages.
